Cathy developed her sales and marketing skill set during positions of increasing managerial responsibility with leaders in the restaurant and soft drink industries (including both PepsiCo and Coca Cola). These highly competitive corporate environments taught her the importance of building effective communications with clients, customers and business partners—and in developing win-win solutions with them. Inclusive negotiations tend to produce effective agreements.
Corporate life also presented Cathy with the challenges and benefits of cross-country moves-finding the right homes in the right neighborhoods with the right schools for her two daughters. So, she understands first-hand not only the stresses of the relocation process, but the benefits as well. She also understands that an appropriate sense of humor can help build a sense of balance during the sometimes stressful, yet wonderful, home buying or selling process. And Cathy’s proud that clients become friends.
Cathy earned a B.S. degree in Economics from Randolph-Macon Woman’s College and spent her junior year at the University of Reading (England) and Oxford.
Beyond real estate, Cathy has been actively involved in community service and local initiatives. She served as a board member for the Buckaroo Ball, a treasured Santa Fe tradition since 1995 that has raised over $8 million to support at-risk children and teens. The event funds vital programs such as Cooking with Kids, Girls on the Run, The Sky Center for Crisis and Suicide Prevention, and Consuelo’s Place. Each working to empower and uplift young people through education, wellness, crisis support, and safe housing.
Cathy also serves on the Santa Fe Prep Boosters Board/Executive Committee, where she was Vice President for 2024–2025 and is the President for 2025 - 2026. The Boosters raise approximately $60,000 annually to support the Santa Fe Prep Athletics Department, funding coaching development, uniforms, scoreboards, travel buses, and equipment for the school’s teams.
